Poké on

I get bored with projects as easy as the next guy. So I took a little break and worked on my little Pokémon themed shoe design. Theres my favorite designed one, the Dusk Ball, my favorite one to use, the Quick ball, and the best one in the game, the Master Ball. To be honest though, I never was much a fan of the Master Ball. But looking at the colors on the shoe it needed some purples to even it all out and make it more pleasing to the eye. It's duller though since it's farther back, also because I couldn't mix the colors quite right. The other balls I just think look cool. And a little wisp to tie it all together. The painting flows well with where I placed everything so I'm happy. One down one more shoe to go.

Pokemon shoes

So I started a lil project. I'm making my own custom make Pokemon hand painted shoes. I only just started but they look pretty good. I need to study for EOCs right now though, so I'll probably be finished in a month or so.

Legends of Korra

Recently I was made aware of the new Legends of Korra series coming out. Being a huge fan of the original series Avatar the last airbender, I was estatic to hear the news. After of course, thoroughly researching the new release I made some fan art. Please enjoy!

Sketchbook!?

 I am infuriated by the morons at my school. Awhile back you remember how I was cartooning and doing those paintings around Christmas time? Quick refresher, 

these are the sketches I did in the sketch book my grandma got my for Christmas. A while back I left it in one of my classes and someone decided to take it. I hate people that just take stuff to take it. I live in a city where the saying is,"Well it is (insert city name)." In other words someone's always stealing something in our city. It really gets on my nerves. I also got an adorable lamb hat taken! That was one of my favorite hates I got for Christmas. I recently remembered this when I was looking for one of my sketches that I forgot was in THAT sketchbook. Talk about a downer.

Pokemon Religion

So, as you guys may or may not know, I am a fan of Pokemon. I may not be the most proficient in the knowledge of Pokemon as others, but what I don't know I find out. Recently at my lunch table where my boyfriend, our hodgepodge of friends and I sit we got into yet another great Pokemon conversation and tried to figure out if we could translate Pokemon legends into a religion. I figured out the pokemon religion as Christianity. Acreus created all, he is god. All legendaries occurred through him. Time(Dialga), Space(Palkia), Antimatter(Giratina) and sea(Kyogre), earth(Groudon), sky(Rayquaza) and the melding of the land into regions(Regigigas) and storms(Zapdos), sunshine(Moltres), ice(Arcticuno) and willpower(Azelf), knowledge(Uxie), emotion(Mesprit) all variables of the fabric of the world being created through Acreus making these helpers. Sorta like the unseen forced that shape our world only seen as pokemon.
 Jesus being a certain mixture of pokemon legends. Mew having actually given birth to Mewtwo, after genetic tampering of course, but it was immaculate conception. So Mew is Mary and Mewtwo similar to Jesus. However, Mewtwo did not die then get resurrected. Brass tower, 3 pokemon died, then are resurrected by Ho-oh, representative of an angel. 3 pokemon being Entei Raikou and Suicune. Representing Jesus and the 2 men on the crosses beside him dying for their sins. The pokemon having died burning in fire represents Jesus and the other 2 going to hell. The other 2 didnt get resurrected so they are simply just there by circumstance in this story I guess. Suicune I think that would be more specifically Jesus, since I do recall Suicune can run on water....

Quick shout out, this artist did a really good job, I personally think, for what he was drawing. It shows the beauty of Suicune while keeping it still in the anime form. Awesome work.
